The way I see it, any business or organization that hires someone to do a job should be interested in that person enough to take the effort to train them for the job they hired them to do. This year, I went back to special ed in my school district. I've struggled all year long dealing with piecemeal on-the-job training. Yesterday, while speaking on the phone with my area coordinator, I was told that the procedures for one thing that I was struggling with where in the special education handbook. The way I see it, you don't wait till the last three weeks of school to let someone know such a handbook exists.
